Rein and Shine is a NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) Premiere Accredited Facility, and has been providing horseback riding as therapy since 2001. Rein and Shine is a registered non-profit organization, dedicated to providing an alternative method of healing to children and adults with physical, emotional, social, and/or cognitive disabilities. Rein and Shine also offers riding lessons for mainstream students who want to learn how to properly care for, ride, understand and appreciate horses and ponies. A portion of all proceeds from the Horsemanship Program are used to help support the Therapeutic Riding Program. Because of our non-profit status, Rein and Shine relies heavily on grants and donations from the Charleston Community, as well as the public at large.
